Wednesday – Work out Manipura

We are strong in Mind, Body and Soul.


It is great to be calm in turmoil, we have control over the mind and body, but too much calmness is not good neither. We already have that fire in us, we need to sweat it out a little and give our body challenges.


Lift heavy weights today, feel powerful. Feel the strength within you.

Lower your body weight in a chaturanga.

Balance on one leg and lift weights over your head.

Plank for 1 minute and 5 seconds instead of 1 minute. Whatever your body will consider a challenge.


Then eat a balance meal, with protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats.

Drink plenty of water all day long, 0.8-1 oz of your body weight. A gallon is 128oz's, so I do not need to drink a whole gallon, but close to it. Please do not carry a gallon of water and drink it all day long, it carries too much bacteria. Small amount through out the day is great for the body, hydration, and muscle recovery.


Feel the Vitality after your work out. I feel a sense as if I am lifted almost off of the ground as I walk, or as if I am walking on a cloud, I just feel that I am lighter after I workout.(being my height, I can use all the lift I can get).


I guess that is why Muhammad Ali said, float like a butterfly.

If the fire gets too hot inside our bellies and we don't release it in physical activities, it becomes an “ITIS” in our body. Then we are chasing the inflammation, most of the time with medication. We do not have to let it get out of control, we can control it - by releasing that strength, (FIRE) let the sweat of your own hard work keep the fire at bay.


Take the time for yourself, We all want our children or our loved ones to be well rounded, we want health and wealth and happiness for them all, and they want it for us so, you are part of them, and making time for yourself to be well rounded, with your body, mind and spirit, will teach them to treat themselves with care also.


Yoga does this for me, and I am sure that it will do it for you, or your loved ones.
